I arrived in Moldova last night from Australia.. Went to the Cupcui orphanage today and walked into an 'ambush'.. When I got there the 'children protection' director for the region arrived, he had brought a girl.. An orphan, seven months pregnant. She had been trafficked, and sold for $1500. Svetlana was a shell..weeping as she told us her story.. she asked to go to the toilet, Galina showed her where to go..on the way she said she was embarrassed to ask, she had no socks, or underwear. There are four more girls, just like her. Because of her we are now beginning a mother and baby center at Cupcui! Then it got really crazy.. The director told us UNICEF had come to the orphanage.. They had also visited some of the desperate children who are living on the brink of extinction.. The told him this orphanage needs to be open yesterday. I asked him 'are you saying we need to open sooner than planned?' he looked at me and said 'yesterday'

We are going to work non stop from now till Monday, we told him..'bring the children on Monday',we'll be ready. Providence, our new Christian orphanage begins then.

We need your prayers. Five kitchens need to be installed. units, sink, refrigerator, wall cabinets, and a ton of other 'finishing' stuff. Melody worked it out to be around $35,000. I've been gone a month and didn't expect to open so soon.. Pray God speaks to hearts to help.. Thanks

Please pray about helping. Donate now

When members of Peterhead Baptist Church YF (Youth Fellowship) heard the harrowing accounts from girls who had been raised in the orphanage in Moldova they decided they had to do something to help. They held a craft sale and raised over £500. With the money raised, they purchased coats, gloves, hats, blankets, etc and donated them to The New Hope Trust for the orphans in Moldova.
