At the end of April our next humanitarian load will be send to Eastern Europe. This load will be sent to Romania. Our main area of focus for this load are the homeless shelter and old peoples homes in Varias, Comlas Mare & Ciacova.

The New Hope Trust has been committed to long-term humanitarian projects in Eastern Europe since January 1990 (just after the fall of the Berlin Wall).
Since then we have been actively engaged in transporting carrying urgently needed clothing, food, medical equipment and many other vital supplies.
People throughout the country have rallied behind New Hope, and thousands of tons of relief supplies have been donated. Since 1990 the Trust has made an enormous difference to thousands of people in orphanages, AIDS children’s hospitals, old peoples homes, hospitals, schools and individual families. Relief missions have also been made to Moscow, Bosnia, Croatia, Turkey, Kosovo and Albania.
One of our main appeals each year is our Christmas "Shoe-box" Parcel Appeal. For this appeal - now in it's 17th year - each December we take over thousands of “shoe-box” sized Christmas parcels, wrapped in Christmas paper, full of sweets, toys, hats, scarves, gloves, soap, toothpaste, and other small gifts, bringing happiness and joy to so many.
Schools, clubs, groups and churches, organisations and individuals play a big part each year in donating thousands of “shoe-box” sized parcels.
These parcels bring a message of hope and love that most of these people would otherwise not have.
